GRACE CHANG, ASSOCIATE
Grace Chang is an experienced attorney in business immigration, corporate, employment, and general business legal matters. She has successfully prepared EB-1 and O-1 work visas for internationally acclaimed entertainers, artists, scientists and businessmen. She has also filed National Interest Waiver (EB-2 NIW) cases for distinguished professionals in fields such as dentistry, medicine, science and technical fields. She has also counseled investors in obtaining their EB-5 Immigrant Investor green card (I-526 and I-829 applications) and global companies and mid-sized corporations in applying for E-Treaty Traders/Investors, H-1B, L (individual and blanket petitions), and other employment-based non-immigrant visa cases for their global workforce. She provides legal counsel and expertise in all types of business immigration matters, including PERM labor certification, Adjustment of Status applications, and consular visa applications. She also represents clients at immigration court hearings and handles family-based immigration and naturalization cases.
Grace also acts as general counsel for international and domestic corporate clients on general business matters including real estate transactions and acquisitions, due diligence, environmental hazard liability, and other related issues. She also provides counsel on employment matters including reviewing I-9 compliance, hiring and termination practices, sexual harassment policies, and updating employee handbooks. She has also set up numerous corporations and is savvy in corporate governance issues.
Grace attended UCLA School of Law where she studied immigration law and real estate finance. She was a fellow at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles where she provided legal counsel on corporate governance issues to small businesses and non-profit organizations. She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Korean American Bar Association. Grace is fluent in Korean.
